Jorge De La Rotta
DNP, FNP‑C, ONP‑C
Dr. De La Rotta is a distinguished clinician whose career spans more than 30 years across orthopedic surgery, musculoskeletal medicine, and advanced regenerative therapies. Originally trained as a physician in Colombia and later as an orthopedic surgeon and hand specialist in Argentina, he spent decades performing complex trauma surgeries, arthroscopic procedures, fracture fixation, and joint replacements, while leading orthopedic departments and high‑acuity surgical teams.
After relocating to the United States, Dr. De La Rotta expanded his training and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and ultimately a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. Today, he is a board‑certified Family Nurse Practitioner and one of the few clinicians holding the Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner Certification (ONP‑C), allowing him to blend surgical precision with modern, non‑surgical orthopedic care.
His practice focuses heavily on regenerative medicine, including biologic joint restoration, non‑surgical musculoskeletal healing, ultrasound‑guided injections, and advanced pain‑management procedures. With deep expertise in interpreting X‑rays, MRIs, CT scans, musculoskeletal ultrasound, EMGs, and nerve conduction studies, he delivers a diagnostic and therapeutic approach that helps patients avoid surgery, accelerate recovery, and restore long‑term function.
Dr. De La Rotta is known for his patient‑centered philosophy, integrating orthopedic knowledge with holistic assessment, emotional‑health coaching, and empowerment‑based care. Fluent in English and Spanish, he is committed to helping individuals reduce pain, regain mobility, and improve their quality of life through evidence‑based regenerative treatments.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, their two rescued dogs, and staying connected with his two grown children.
