Physical Therapist Assistant
Joshua Wise earned his Associate of Science degree in the Physical Therapist Assistant program from Florida State College at Jacksonville in 2016, graduating with the highest honors. He went on to complete his Bachelor of Science degree in Recreational Therapy with a concentration in Rehabilitation from Florida International University.
Joshua is certified in Corrective Exercise Prescription through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and in Applied Functional Science through the Gray Institute. His diverse clinical background and continuing education reflect a deep commitment to movement science, patient-centered care, and performance optimization.
From 2013 to 2017, Joshua was a successful competitive powerlifter. In 2013, he earned the title of American Powerlifting Federation “Raw” National Champion in the 198 lb weight class.
His years of competing at a high level instilled in him a precise understanding of exercise mechanics, biomechanics, and posture—insights he now applies to help individuals of all activity levels, from weekend warriors to professional athletes, achieve functional strength and resilience.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Joshua enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and daughter, and attending church together as a family. His faith and family life remain central to his values, guiding his work ethic and passion for helping others move, feel, and live better.
