Understanding Peripheral Neuropathy
Peripheral neuropathy affects over 20 million Americans and occurs when the nerves outside the brain and spinal cord are damaged or begin to malfunction. It is not a single disease — it is a symptom of a disrupted nervous system driven by poor microvascular circulation, chronic inflammation, toxic exposures, or nutritional deficiencies.
Standard treatment with gabapentin or duloxetine reduces the pain signal but does not repair damaged nerves, restore circulation, or address any underlying cause. Without treating root causes, neuropathy consistently progresses. The peripheral nervous system does have regenerative capacity — but only when the conditions damaging it are identified and corrected.
