What It Is

Acupuncture
We use acupuncture in conjunction with care when medically necessary. Traditional Chinese Acupuncture utilizes needling along various meridians (acupuncture points) to restore the proper flow of Qi (pronounced “chEE” & is our body’s source of energy). This promotes the body’s healing response.

Dry Needling
Dr. Lipp attended Dr. Ma’s last Integrative Dry Needling class before his assistants started teaching the course. Dry Needling still uses acupuncture needles, but differently than Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dry Needling is performed along various “hot spots” or points of pain. Dr. Lipp essentially finds bubbles of tension or “hot spots” and uses an acupuncture needle to release it. The process is usually absolutely painless and helps promote the body’s healing response, alleviate pain and help restore range of motion.
